Sara Malacarne
About me
I am a Senior Research Scientist in AI at Telenor Research and Innovation, with a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Oslo.
I develop new, mathematically grounded machine-learning methods for time-series and longitudinal data. My research combines methodological development with applications to complex, high-dimensional and multivariate real-world data.
My current interests include reservoir computing, representation and generative learning, graph-based methods, and anomaly detection. More information is available on my Research page.
My original background is in operator algebras, noncommutative probability, and quantum groups, which continues to shape how I approach machine-learning problems.
